Two Duos Tour - Germany '16

And so it begins. Twelve dates, three line-ups (is 'solo' a line-up?), two countries (Belgium, too) and a harp.

I saw trucks from 10 nations on my drive to Dover. That's the kind of thing I notice.

Bonn this evening, to the home of my fine son, Thom and vegan wife Jo, a final rehearsal with Norma and her harp, hand percussion and harmonies, then on to Lontzen and the Dancing Mole in Belgium for the first gig.

Life, eh!

I'm going to play in Germany (and Belgium)

In September I'll be mostly playing gigs in Germany and - to start it all off - the lovely Dancing Mole music club in Belgium.

Come see me! I'll be with Norma Huss from Winnenden (Celtic harp, percussion and vox) for several of the concerts and Filip Svensson from Gothenburg (bass and vox) for others and on my own (in funky Kreuzberg) for one. International we are. Versatile I am.

Be there or... actually, just be there.

Fans' Gig 2016 - and other stuff

TWO GIGS IN A WEEK - HECK!


Hello, loyal and patient reader of this blog,

As mentioned elsewhere, I've been a bit lacking in my attention to you and I apologise. It's been because I've been busy elsewhere (see below), but you were always on my mind, you were always on my mind...

I'm here now because there's two things to tell you about.

Song Club East is happening on Thursday 10th March. We have two very fine song-writing guests in Jeremy Tuplin and Rob Corcoran. Listen to Rob's It Hurts Me Too or Jeremy's Modern Life / Modern Love and you'll see why they got the invite - and you'll want to come down.

Of course,  there's also yours truly - and you could whet your appetite by musing on the opening track to my most recent CD, In Arrochar ... 'Hunting down the shards of time'. Good eh?
